Jan. 30th Deadline to Apply for QAC Zoning Appeal Board's Attorney
The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners are seeking letters of interest from attorneys licensed to practice in the State of Maryland to serve as legal counsel to the Queen Anne’s County Board of Zoning Appeals. The county commissioners are seeking an experienced attorney with a background in land use and administrative law. The deadline for applications is January 30.
The position will advise the Board of Zoning Appeals on legal interpretations of the Zoning Code and provide legal advice on applications for variances and conditional uses as well as on matters on appeal from administrative decisions by the Department of Planning and Zoning.
The board meets in the evening as necessary based on the submittal of applications. The board attorney must be readily available for evening meetings and have a demonstrated ability to produce written opinions in a timely manner.
Anyone interested must submit a letter of interest and CV to the Queen Anne’s County Commissioners for consideration by January 21, 2015.
