If you have ever had a hard time peeling your hard boiled eggstry putting a 3/4 tsp. of baking soda in the water while boiling the eggs. I have my own chickens and fresh eggs are very hard to peel after boiling BUT not since I've started using baking soda!
If I am making a recipe that requires hard boiled eggs I also boil them a day ahead of time and refrigerate them until ready to peel.
By boiling them a day ahead of time and using baking soda I have zero issues peeling hard boiled eggs.
