I have always loved Black Bean soup. Would love a good recipe. Never tried to make at home. However, lately the Brazilians that have been staying with us eat black beans and rice often. So we've picked up on how they prepare the beans and that has worked out well. My son's love the black beans and rice so I am thinking they will like the soup as well.

My black bean soup recipe will be in next week's edition of the Update as well as on the website. I can tell you though that there was none left last night! Even my ten year old had more than one bowl. I was shocked! Beans are very versatile but in my opinion the key to good tasting beans is seasoning. While seasoning though remember you can always add more but taking away is impossible!
