QAC Drug-Free Coalition Activities: Queen Anne’s County is holding a FREE Alcoholic Beverage Retailer and Restaurant/Bar Training on June 22, 2015 at the QAC Office of the Sheriff from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. The four-hour training includes: Fraudulent Document Identification Recognition; Age Verification; Recognizing Counterfeit Money. Each participant will receive reference materials and a handheld ultraviolent light/magnifier. This is an interactive course where participants will be given fake identifications and need to identify why they are fraudulent. All attendees will be given cash to examine so they can identify counterfeit money. This training is being conducted to empower retailers and restaurant/bar staff so they do not sell alcohol to minors and to avoid getting paid with counterfeit money. FREE breakfast will be served.
