If you like chocolate covered bananas as much as I do you'll love this because these have the added bonus of peanut butter! You can actually use whatever kind of nut butter you choose like almond or sunnut butter.
You'll need bananas, nut butter, chocolate for melting, wax paper and a cookie sheet.
Cut the bananas in about 1/2 inch wide slices. You will need two slices per banana bite.
Spread some nut butter on one slice of banana and place another on top. Place on cookie sheet covered with wax paper.
Freeze for one hour.
Melt chocolate in bowl in microwave or in a double boiler on the stove top.
Use a toothpick to dip banana bites into chocolate, place back onto cookie sheet.
When done freeze for 2 hours. Enjoy!
*1 1/2 cup of chocolate chips will be enough for a few bananas.
