Cleaning glass tea pots

I have a very pretty glass tea pot and I don't like seeing white hard water deposits on it. Even putting it through the dishwasher doesn't help. I mainly just boil water in mine but if you brew your tea in yours and get brown stains the cleaning method I'm gonna share will also work for those stains. Pour one quart of white vinegar into your tea pot and boil for two minutes. Remove from stove and cool to room temperature then pour out the vinegar and gently wash the pot. Hope this tip helps!
