Recently I saw a recipe that all you had to do was use a dry cake mix and a can of pumpkin to make muffins. I just couldn't risk that since I had to use a gluten free cake mix and they are so expensive. I did however, make up my own recipe and it worked!
Cake Mix Pumpkin Muffins
1 box yellow cake mix (regular or gluten free) 1 16 oz. can pumpkin 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 egg 4 tsp. butter, melted 3/4 c. chocolate chips
Mix all ingredients together and pour into muffin tins. Bake on 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
Cool and refrigerate any leftovers.
