Anybody out there bake when you're anxious or to take your mind off of things, stuff, junk? I absolutely do! For some reason it helps me calm down and keep my mind and hands busy. Problem is that sometimes you can mess up ingredients if your mind is way out there. Trust me I know first hand about that, sugar and salt may look similar when your mind is anxious and not paying enough attention BUT it absolutely makes nasty baked goods when mixed up! Anyone care to share your baking horror stories?

I remember a few months ago my wife asked me bake some homemade macaroni cheese for the kids and us. It was getting late and I was tight on time, and without thinking I used spaghetti noodles instead of macaroni! Needless to say, my wife lost it when she saw what I had done, but it surprisingly tasted pretty good!
