Family Fun in the Kitchen
As summer comes to a close and family time will soon turn to carpooling and homework, spend an evening making your favorite pasta sauces together. Grab some store bought sauces and doctor them up. With your garden overflowing, dice up those abundant garden vegetables and throw them into the mix too! You can also add pepperoni, hamburger or sausage… let the kids decide! When you're done, store in freezer bags, label and freeze for the busy back-to-school evenings that are quickly approaching. Then when you have no time to cook, you can grab a bag of sauce… and summertime family memories!
