When it comes to watching football games I eat the entire time and most of what I eat has a dip with it! Go figure! Here are 3 easy dips to try:
Chili Cheese Dip
1 15 oz. can chili with no beans
1 16 oz. pkg. Velveeta Cheese, cubed
1 can Rotel Tomatoes original or spicy(optional, but this is how I always fix it)
Cover and microwave in a microwave safe bowl for 4-5 minutes, stirring halfway through. OR put all the ingredients in a medium saucepan on the stove over low heat and stir until melted and heated through. Most of the time I put this in my 1 qt. crock pot and stir often.
Serve with corn chips or tortilla chips.
Buffalo Chicken Dip
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. ranch dressing
2/3 c. buffalo hot sauce, such as Frank's or Texas Pete
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 (10 oz.) cans chicken breast, drained
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine cream cheese, ranch dressing, hot sauce and 1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese until well blended. Stir in chicken and put in a 2 qt. casserole dish and bake 20 minutes, then sprinkle 1/2 c. of remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top and bake 5-7 more minutes.
Serve with tortilla chips and celery.
Cheesy Bacon Dip
1 16 oz. pkg. sour cream
1 3 oz. jar real bacon bits
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
2/3 c. chopped green onions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine all ingredients, mix well. Put in a 2 qt. casserole dish, cover and bake 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve with crackers, chips or veggies.
