Between strawberry rhubarb jam, plain strawberry jam, strawberry pie, jello with strawberries and frozen strawberries I feel surrounded by nothing but strawberries! It's definately been busy around here with doing all of those but I think I've gained 5 pounds because it's all tasted so good!
I came up with a berry breakfast smoothie you might want to try. My boys love smoothies and want to make them with anything we have on hand but this is a quick smoothie treat for breakfast or anytime.
Berry Banana Smoothie
1 banana, sliced 1 c. sliced strawberries 1 c. blueberries 1 6 oz. container of blueberry or strawberry yogurt (plain would work also) 1 c. cranberry juice
Put all ingredients in the blender and pulse until you get the consistency you like. Enjoy!
