Osteoporosis - Questions to Ask Your Doctor Last week, while in the waiting room of a doctor's office, I found a brochure on Osteoporosis and questions you should ask your doctor or pharmacist. Since we had a good number of people visit that post, I thought I would share the questions with you. Here are those questions: * Do I need special medications for osteoporosis? * What medication do I need for my bones? * How many times a day should I take my medication? * How do I take my medication? * What are the side effects of the medication? * How long will I need to take my osteoporosis medication? * If I forget to take my medication, what should I do? * Are there any foods or drinks I should avoid while taking my medication? * Do I also need to take calcium and vitamin D? * Can I take my osteoporosis medication with other medicines?
