Mother Goose on the Loose For 3 months-36 months with adult
Fridays, November 6 and 13 at 9:45 and 11:00 a.m.
Nursery rhymes, songs, movement, puppets, and story followed by playtime.
Making Bioplastics
Friday, November 6 from 2:30-3:15pm For 2nd-5th grade
In this activity, students make a simple bioplastic from cornstarch. They will learn the advantages and disadvantages of bioplastics and how we can make use of our natural resources. Students will also learn about the many other uses of our corn crops. Presented by Queen Anne's County 4-H. Please register at calendar.qaclibrary.org. This event is part of the Maryland STEM Festival.

Gobble along as we read about turkeys, feasting, and feeling thankful. Stories followed by a craft.
Cooking for Kids For ages 6-16
Monday, November 23 at 4:30 p.m.
Rob Glass, a KIHS teacher, leads “Cooking for Kids: Easy No Heat Recipes for Kids and Parents” with a Thanksgiving theme. Please register at calendar.qaclibrary.org

Love to write? Practice your craft and be inspired by others who enjoy creative writing. Bring your writing tools or use ours. We'll try free writing and themed prompts in your choice of poetry or prose.
