Grasonville Senior Center and Pharmacists’ Education & Advocacy Council of Maryland present a free interactive workshop called Addiction SOS: Stepping out of the Shadows. This event is open to all.
Do you have questions about prescription drugs? Do you worry if an evening drink will interfere with your prescription? Do you know someone with a drug or alcohol problem and want to help? In this workshop a team of trained and certified pharmacists’ will help dispel myths about drug and alcohol use, identify the signs of use or abuse and help build your own conversation to use when speaking to a loved one about recreational use or even abuse leading to clinical addiction.
The program will be held Thursday Sept. 11, 2014 at 10:00AM. Light Refreshments will be served. Advance registration is suggested. Call for more information (410) 827-6010. Grasonville Senior Center is conveniently located at 4802 Main Street, Grasonville.
