Puppy Manners
Class will cover basic doggy manners; puppy issues, including housetraining and chewing; socialization; and questions raised by class members. Puppies should be between 8 and 20 weeks at the start of class. Puppies must have had one round of vaccines at least 7 days before attending their first class. You are encouraged to attend six consecutive classes. Exceptions must be cleared with the instructor.
Rolling start date
Mondays, 6:30-7:30pm
6 weekly sessions
All classes will be held in the ARF Training Center, which is next door to the Adoption Center. Cost for a 6-week session is $125 ($25 discount for dogs adopted from ARF or who have completed at least one previous round of classes with ARF).
Basic Manners
For dogs six months and older. This class will cover basic doggy manners, as well as topics of concern raised by class members.

All classes will be held in the ARF Training Center, which is next door to the Adoption Center. Cost for a 6-week session is $125 ($25 discount for dogs adopted from ARF or who have completed at least one previous round of classes with ARF).
Intermediate Manners
For dogs of all ages that have completed Basic Manners, Puppy Manners, or equivalent. This class will cover intermediate training skills, such as self-control and working with distractions. This class is an appropriate next step for those working towards AKC Canine Good Citizen certification, therapy dog work, or who would just like to continue their training. This class is also intended for those who have completed Intermediate Manners, but would like to continue their work towards one of these certifications. The difficulty of the exercises will be adjusted based on the skill of the dog/handler team.
